The 76th Annual FWSA Convention was held in Bellevue, WA June 5-8, 2008 and what a convention it was!   Approximately 180 delegates met to exchange ideas for promoting and growing our clubs, increasing the "fun" quotient of our events, and promoting and growing snowsports throughout the West.  We had 4 days of fun events, productive meetings, fabulous food, excellent parties and well deserved awards.  Karen Albrecht and Craig Faitel represented Inskiers as our Woman and Man of the Year!  In addition Karen represented BAC as the Bay Area Snowsports Council Woman of the Year!   Congratulations Karen and Craig.  Five Inskiers attended the convention as voting delegates - Lisa Burgess, Terri Zorn, Karen Albrecht, Cathy Wilson and Craig Faitel.

The site for the 2009 Far West Convention has also been announced.  It will be in Reno, Nevada.  Stay tuned for more information on this event.
